PLDC - Both the home and away matches of the League Cup final were good games and we deserved to win the title, said Kazemi, Sepahan's Head Coach after Wednesday's game. Kazemi also said: "Esteghlal has some very good players and they also had their fans supporting them through out the game, but we managed to play a decent game of football and defeat the Tehrani Blues on their own home turf." Kazemi continued by saying: "We tried to block Esteghlal's attack from both sides and on counter attack we were able to capitalize and win the match, while we should not forget that Sosko had a great game and was very effective." Kazemi also talked about the Sepahan fan's behaviors in the 1st leg and said: "I have asked our fans to be as polite as possible towards the opponents since I believe that the match has to be won on the field and I hope that our fans show a better performance in the future." At the end Kazemi said: "I do not think that I will be with Sepahan next season even though if I decide to stay out of Tehran, I will give the priority to Sepahan, but I rather work in Tehran next season and be close to my family, but either way I wish for Sepahan to have a good season and for the next season Aghaei and Rahmati are Sepahan's new players as well as Bezik who has recovered from his injury and will rejoin Sepahan soon."
